I’m planning on an update and distillation of the original Existence, Identity, Consciousness PDF in order to tease out the core metaphysical ideas (this should more-or-less tie together the issues mentioned in last January’s blog). I should have news on this next month.
In the meantime here’s a link to a super-simple animation which attempts to represent some fundamental metaphysical ideas, indeed, the working of that axiomatic triad of existence, identity and consciousness.
I think animations might help to get across some tricky-to-explain ideas in metaphysics — even though they have their limits. Anyway, I might do more of these and post them up on the linked YouTube playlist.
